We’re heading off to Spain for our eighth
Autobody Fine Art Dinner, in honour of Jacqueline's father,
who will be visiting from the United Kingdom during September
and October. As a child, Jacqueline's family would pack off
to Majorca
for three weeks or so, lapping up the sun so sorely lacking
in the UK, and feasting on tapas, paella and flan. So, she
decided to bring Spain to Alameda, complete with a Flamenco
dancer, an assortment of tapas, enough paella to feed an
island, and, of course, Sangria.
Indulge your senses and come and
join us. Co-Director
Colin Herrick will be producing another limited edition print
for the occasion (although he suggested a mock bull fight
with one of the interns dressed in a furry costume, - that
was nixed), and Jacqueline shall try her hardest
to procure some Calisay (a ridiculously strong Spanish liquer).
If you are a member and
have not already taken advantage of the offer, then you
can attend one dinner a year for free. If you're a current
member, you receive a $10.00 discount.
.
We ask that It would you dress in something flowing and evocative of the environment as we like to create an overall atmosphere during these events. Seating will be limited to thirty people, so make your reservation early.
