In honor of our new
art studios opening and ready for creative practice, and to
celebrate Spring, we will be holding the fifth Autobody Fine
Art Dinner on Saturday March 14th, 2009. This time around we
will be influenced by the exotic-the irresistible allure of
the Moroccan souk will be replicated inside the gallery, replete
with comfy cushions, fragrant incense, a hookah, and
belly dancing.
This wild event starts with hor's d'oeuvres and cocktails
followed by dinner.
The evening will be spiced up by a belly dancing performance and a glass blowing
demonstration by Alexis Berger, our featured In-Store artist.
Co-director Herrick will be producing another special edition
print for the occasion, and for those of you who have purchased
membership, you can take $10.00 off the cost of the evening,
per person.

We ask that

would you dress in something flowing
and evocative of the environment as we like to create an overall
atmosphere during these events. Seating will be limited to
thirty people, so make your reservation
early.
Close your eyes,
wander through the silk-lined alleyways of a souk until the smell
of cumin, preserved lemons, olives and cardamoms brings you to
a place of sensuality.
